Norfolk lawyer publishes Agriculture law book

    September 05, 2019
    Robert Fuller

The many farmers in Norfolk County, Ontario, are fortunate to have an expert on agricultural law in their midst — he literally wrote the Canadian book on it!

Mr. Robert Fuller is an accomplished lawyer and partner at Brimage Law Group, and is also the lead author of the book “Agriculture Law in Canada” published by LexisNexis. The second edition of the book launched August 31, 2019; with most chapters updated and extended. The first edition is in many law libraries. It has been an essential resource for lawyers, students, professors, government workers, accountants, financial institutions; and of course, farmers.

The book covers ownership, public control of farmland, the business organization of farm operations, farm financing, employment law, liability on the farm, regulating production and sales of agricultural product and trade, farm succession and estate planning, termination of a farms operation, and taxation of farming.

Farming is big business Canada, wrong answers wreck careers and cost millions of dollars. Each author spent hundreds of hours reviewing legal cases, government regulations, and many other sources and then compiled a trustworthy reference.

“Agriculture Law in Canada, 2nd edition” is a must-have upgrade for farm advisors and can be ordered from the publisher LexisNexis.

Robert Fuller welcomes press interviews, speaking engagements and new clients.
