Norfolk County Celebrates 3 Years of Helping Local Businesses Obtain Grants
Through Digital Main Street, supported locally by Norfolk County, the Digital Services Team members have assisted local Norfolk County businesses implement or improve their online presence, all at no cost. This no cost service has resulted in many businesses adding more customer and greater revenue opportunities.
While the Digital Main Street program is scheduled to end on March 31, 2024 we are proud of all that was accomplished by our dedicated team members.
Each year the Digital Services Team has assisted businesses in applying for and obtaining relevant digital marketing grants worth thousands of dollars. The grant money was used for building or improving a website, adding an ecommerce store, purchasing software such as for image creation to use on social media, as well as other facets of online promotion. The Team has helped them develop skills, install applications, and understand available software and technologies to grow their online presence.
Still Available: Grow Your Business Online – A Grant of up to $2400:
While other grant opportunities have ended, the Canadian Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) continues to provide reimbursement funds to create or improve your online e-commerce store. Eligible businesses will receive a micro-grant of up to $2,400 to help with the costs related to adopting digital technologies.
