Two e-commerce options are available through Digital Main Street, supported locally by Norfolk County.
Grow Your Business Online – A Grant of up to $2400:
The Canadian Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) provides reimbursement funds to create or improve your online e-commerce store. Eligible businesses will receive a micro-grant of up to $2,400 to help with the costs related to adopting digital technologies. Grants will be available through Digital Main Street. DMS will also support a network of e-commerce advisors who will advise and help small businesses adopt e-commerce.

ShopHERE powered by Google – A Free Program:
ShopHERE creates online stores for independent small businesses and artists at no cost. It includes the initial resources, tools, and 1-on-1 support to build and launch your online store. You must be an Ontario registered home based or commercial business, or an artist, and have under 10 full time employees (25 if a restaurant).

Free Digital Assessment and Planning
The Digital Services Team can help assess your current online presence to determine what skills, applications, and technologies you may need to grow your online presence. This assessment could include identifying needed training, staffing, software, and hardware along with an implementation plan and estimated costs.

Digital Main Street and Norfolk County Partnership
Digital Main Street (DMS) is a program and service that helps Norfolk County small businesses achieve a digital transformation online. The program is built around an online learning platform, structured training programs, and our Digital Service Team, a team who help local businesses grow through the adoption of digital tools and technology.
Digital Main Street was created by the Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas (TABIA) and now has expanded across Ontario and supporting our team in Norfolk County. Strategic business partners, include Google, Mastercard, Shopify, Microsoft, Facebook, Intuit QuickBooks, Square, Yellow Pages and Lightspeed.
