A third microbrewery in Norfolk County has been approved to be built in a former elementary school in the hamlet of Nixon, east of Delhi. The 6,250-quare-foot brewery, owned by GVN-Group Inc., will feature a retail outlet. Norfolk County Council unanimously approved the zoning amendment, which was recommended by Community Planning staff. Jo Gevens and his son Mischa of the New Limburg Brewery, named after their hometown in the Netherlands, are experimenting with several different recipes, according to the Simcoe Reformer.
