A non-denominational church group that helps people in poverty has bought the former LCBO in downtown Simcoe and plans to turn it into a food/community centre, reports the Simcoe Reformer. The 7,800-square-foot building will become a combined cafe, information centre, drop-in centre, marketplace, and a place where the public can learn to cook healthy food.
