A site plan has been received by Norfolk County Community Planning from New Leaf Canada for a new medical marijuana production facility.
The facility, to be located in the former Charlotteville Township, is anticipated to create several new jobs.
Medical marijuana production facility are permitted in the Agriculture zone in Norfolk County, subject to General Provisions 3.21.
