Norfolk County Community Planning staff are recommending approval of an application from The Local Vegetable Co. to build a greenhouse operation on Luscombe Drive in the Judd Industrial Park in Simcoe.
Documentation circulated by Norfolk County Community Planning staff outlines that “an application has been received to establish a site specific use of an agricultural greenhouse operation on the subject lands with special provisions to reduce the front yard setback requirement from 13m to 10.2m and to reduce the required parking spaces from 255 parking spaces to 26 parking spaces. The subject lands are designated Industrial Business Park in the Norfolk County Official Plan and zoned General Industrial in the Town of Simcoe Zoning By-law.”
