SIMCOE, Ont. — The Gulf Group of Companies of Toronto is proposing to build a six-storey apartment building at the corner of Water Street and Culver Street in downtown Simcoe, Norfolk County.
Norfolk County Development & Cultural Services staff have received the application to amend the Norfolk County Zoning By-law to amend the zone provisions of the CBD (Central Business District Zone) to provide relief of provision 6.1.4 and 6.1.5 for the construction of a six-storey apartment building with some commercial use on the ground floor. Relief from provisions 6.1.4 will allow residential use on the ground-floor and relief of provision 6.1.5 will allow exemption from the requirement to step back (2m) floors above four storeys in height.
The application is currently in circulation for public comment. It will be brought to Norfolk County Council for review at a later date. File #ZNPL2015147.
