The 2017 Farmland Values Report by Farm Credit Canada provides an annual look at the provincial and regional land value trends across Canada – this year in price per acre.
Farmland in “southeastern Ontario” increased by 15.6% in 2017, to an average of $9,929 per acre. Prices range across the region from $6,100 to $17,900 per acre.
In all of the province, average farmland values increased by 9.4%.
