Tanya Van Rooy is planning a special Carnival event in downtown Simcoe on Friday September 15 celebrating the culture of our temporary population. There will be a Mexican Carnival and a Jamaican Junkanoo. There will be live music and food inspired by the cultures of our offshore workers.
Farmers are encouraged to share information about the event with their workers. Download and print the Carnival poster and post it in a bunkhouse near you.
