Our staff works with private-sector developers to attract investment to Norfolk County. We assist small business, tourism, agriculture, commercial and industrial sectors through advice, incentives and supports.
Our office is the official destination marketing authority for Norfolk County and its various population centres: Simcoe, Port Dover, Delhi, Waterford, Port Rowan. In this capacity, we work with local tourism-related businesses to promote Norfolk County to visitors, investors and new residents.
Norfolk County Council receives advice on economic development matters from its volunteer Advisory Boards. Norfolk County Advisory Boards help to develop alliances and partnerships within sectors to advance the County’s strategic plan and provide a forum for discussion and coordination of County-wide initiatives.

The Norfolk Agricultural Advisory Committee was established to advise Council on matters pertaining to agricultural issues in Norfolk County. They help to develop alliances and partnerships to advance the County’s strategic plan and provide a forum for discussion and coordination of agricultural initiatives.

The Norfolk County Economic Development Advisory Committee was established for the purposes of advising Council on all matters, issues and policies pertaining to tourism and economic development in Norfolk County.
