Norfolk County has approved GK York Management Services Inc. for a project under the Building Façade Improvement Program of the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) business incentives.
GK York Management Services Inc will receive a grant of up to $20,000 for façade improvement on property located at 11-23 Colborne Street North, Simcoe.
Incentives are available from Norfolk County for architectural design, environmental site assessment, structural improvements, building facades, agricultural building and facilities, residential conversions and rehabilitation, landscaping, signage and property improvement.
Depending on the program, non-residential projects are eligible for incentives that apply to properties in urban, hamlet, lakeshore and agricultural areas.
Community Improvement Plans help municipalities target areas in transition or in need of repair, rehabilitation and redevelopment, and stimulate private sector investment through municipal incentive-based programs.
