The Norfolk County Agriculture Advisory Board (AAB) would like the municipality’s Forest Conservation By-Law updated to better support and protect sustainable and innovative agricultural practices.
The previous has not been reviewed since 2006. The AAB decided at its November meeting that a new by-law would better support and protect innovative and sustainable agricultural practices in Norfolk County by providing provisions therein regarding agricultural and normal farm practices.
The AAB has asked Norfolk County Council to enact a new by-law.
