Norfolk County has launched a new Investor’s Guide aimed at entrepreneurs, investors, site selectors and developers.
Norfolk County Investor’s Guide is a 72-page publication which provides detailed information about the municipality as a whole, as well as the urban areas of Simcoe, Delhi, Port Dover, Waterford, Port Rowan and Courtland.
The focus of the publication’s message is “Entrepreneurs grow here”. It utilizes images and quotations from Norfolk County businesspeople and residents to reinforce the message.
“The Investor’s Guide is just one tool in the economic development toolbox used by Norfolk County to entice businesses to relocate or expand here,” said Clark Hoskin, Manager of Tourism and Economic Development.
The Norfolk County Investor’s Guide has been distributed to companies that specialize in industrial and commercial site selection, as well as business contacts at Canadian embassies and consulates around the world, developers, government agencies, business associations, and real estate contacts.
The municipality uses a variety of tools for economic development, including direct communication with businesses considering Norfolk County as a location. Content in the Investor’s Guide is also available on Norfolk County’s economic development website at www.norfolkbusiness.ca. Among other communications efforts, Norfolk County also distributes a monthly email newsletter to interested businesses.
